if mir loses then I think he maybe dropped to a lower show or something. but if he comes in ready to fight then this match should be a dam good one. I still see vera taking though

Mir has looked terrible since coming back ... but considering he had a long road to recovery, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt ... but I still see Vear winning this one, Mir can't afford to gas against him.

... Vera has pretty much met every challenge so far... I'd like to see him go a long way... he's got such a solid combination of MT and JJ...
... I hope Mir makes a good fight though...

Even when Mir was at his best, he was never really that good. Vera is going to kill him. A much better fight for Mir would be Brad Imes.

Even when Mir was at his best, he was never really that good. Vera is going to kill him. A much better fight for Mir would be Brad Imes. I concur, his greatest win was against an inexperienced(on the ground) Sylvia who thought he could power out of an armbar. It seems to me that Mir has lost his heart in MMA, and would rather spend his time at the Vegas buffet than training his ass of.
